kinaray-a dictionary

Now, this is an interesting fact: we don't have our own kinaray-a dictionary.

Why? lack of translators? i don't think so. If we could publish a lot of kinaray-a songs why not a kinaray-a dictionary?

Or maybe its the lack of government support to finance one book? Most probably. If the local government cannot decide whether to finance a new provincial hospital or a new provincial prison house. A little bit of improvement on our language is definitely not in their list of budget.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I welcome the chance to be put to right.

dyka

every morning, my mom turns on the local radio and i'm being awaken by the local news

since November of 2007 when i was transferred back from tagbilaran, bohol (another long story), every morning, some local newscaster is harping about the congressman... yes, at first, he got my full attention.. who wouldn't like to listen to kinaray-a for a change rather than Cebuano?

so, i took my time listening in. its very interesting too. who would have thought that our own congressman is hiding a few? or should i say a lot of very interesting facts about his CDF? hehe

but, as months rolled by... now, being 2009 and all, after a few years... yes, its gets kind of old.. and deafening. can they talk about something new? or make it more "spicy"? a word of advice.. if you will listen in to our local radio station.. once is enough, topics are all the same- day in day out.

new writer

well, its been awhile since the original writer wrote a post on this site... now, the turn over.. hopefully, i can give you more of what i see and heard in san jose, antique.

i'm a visual learner... and hopefully i can share those new sights that i've seen in my new posts...

so, what's new in our town? the new plaza, the new mall... quite a big improvement i tell you. now, if only there will be an improvement to the political system too.
